I made a cherry pie, apple pie, and a yellow cake. The apple you can't really tell that's the fruit in there so I'll have to try another one where you can tell its apple. Here is a better close up of the cake.
I don't have plates made yet so they just are on little paper plates :)
What are some other desserts that a hobbit would like? I'm thinking just about anything but I want to try scones and the book mentions seed cake so I will look that up and try it too.
The pies look amazing. The cake makes me want to taste it. Great work! What is seed cake?
ReplyDeleteI'm not entirely sure what seed cake. I was retreading the first chapter of The Hobbit and it mentions Bilbo having it. I am picturing a fruit cake kind of cake with poppy seeds or something.??
